PRINCIPAL PARTNER, CREATIVITY & DESIGN

BERNARD HARRISON

Bernard Harrison is the man behind the success of Singapore Zoological Gardens (SZG) and setting up the Night Safari. He joined SZG as Curator of Zoology in 1973, and swiftly went onto positions of Assistant Director, Executive Director, Chief Executive of SZG and Night Safari, and finally, Chief Executive Officer of Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS manages SZG, Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park). 

A long standing member of the internationally zoo fraternity, Bernard was President of the South East Asian Zoos Association (SEAZA) and President Elect of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA. Some of the awards Bernard has received are: IAAPA Hall of Fame 2018 and American Creativity Association’s Champion of Creativity Award 2008. 

Because of his extensive experience and network of colleagues and his natural skill as a leader, Bernard is able to put together specific concept development and design teams tailored to individual projects.

PRINCIPAL PARTNER, BUSINESS & OPERATIONS

TINA LIM LONG

Tina's area of expertise is rare. Merging her unique blend of working experiences, she offers clients 'her style' of business management that is creative, realistic, operations-focused and professional. With a career background covering marketing communications, advertising and public relations, retail management, training and broadcasting to hotel management. At The Body Shop Far East Tina was head of Regional Training and Development as well Corporate Communications for the Far East. As their spokesperson, she managed the Body Shop 'Values and Visions' campaigns and publicized their conservation messages.


Tina has been the Principal Partner, Business and Operations in Bernard Harrison and Friends since 2002. Here she has brought her negotiating skills and acute business acumen into the world of zoos and eco-tourism attractions.Tina anchors with her team, all Strategic Business Planning Workshops and directs the Operations of the company and each project Team.

GENERAL MANAGER

ALEXANDER STINGL

Alexander Stingl is the General Manger of BH&F and will fill several roles within BH&F, primarily internal project management, and strategy. In addition to offering a range of operational and designs inputs across disciplines, focused on business and cost effectiveness of design ideas. 

 

Alexander is a business professional with a background in logistics, management, and business development. He has taken on several varied roles in his previous roles in the maritime services sector, and the Singapore Armed Forces. These experiences have given Alexander a practical and effective working style, he is a problem solver. When combined with his adaptability and solid educational background, it makes him a perfect fit for his role as the General Manager of BH&F. Creating value to the team by facilitating the creative design process.

ZOOLOGICAL DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE 

MIKE GRAETZ

Mike is a highly experienced eco-designer, being trained as an architect with 30 years of experience in designing zoos and eco-attractions. With well over 60 zoo designing projects under his belt

Mike was Director of the Creative Design Team at Wildlife Reserves Singapore for many years. He was a key member of the team that developed the Night Safari, the world’s first.  Mike also handled major developments in Singapore Zoo like Fragile Forest, Ethiopian Experience, and Elephants of Asia, and many other large and small projects.

ZOOLOGY & ANIMAL HUSBANDRY

DAVE MORGAN

Dave is presently the Field Director of Wild Welfare, a recently formed NGO supported by the international zoo and animal welfare community. He has had a varied career in wildlife spanning the past 30 years having been the Director of the African Association of Zoos and Aquaria (PAAZAB), CEO of Montecasino Bird Gardens, and the Transvaal Snake Park in South Africa.

Dave has served on the  on the Council  of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) and as Chairman of their Committee for Inter-regional Conservation Co-ordination (CIRCC).  He has also served on the steering committee of Conservation Planning Specialist Group (CBSG) and has been a committee member of the Species 360.
